This study investigated Internet addiction and its association with mental health among 405 pre-service teachers in Ghana. It found that Internet addiction was significantly related to depression, life satisfaction, and loneliness, with loneliness being the most influential factor. The study suggests the need for university-administered programs to address Internet addiction and support the mental health of pre-service teachers, along with awareness campaigns about the risks of excessive Internet use.
