Financing your MBA
How to finance your MBA
Embarking on your MBA journey has already cost you time and effort to find the programme that suits you best. At the same time, you had to think about how you will finance your studies. An MBA is a serious commitment of time and money that needs to be carefully considered.
RSM MBA scholarships
Any applicant who has submitted their online application will automatically be considered for a scholarship by the RSM MBA Awards Committee as part of the application process. Scholarship values differ, but are available up to 50 per cent of the MBA tuition fee. Our financial aid offerings will be determined by the RSM MBA Awards Committee based on the merits of your MBA application. The committee will take into consideration, for example, your essay, profile, GMAT score, admissions interview and evaluation.
Our scholarship deadlines run parallel with our MBA application deadlines. So you must submit your MBA application to be considered for a scholarship. While the MBA Scholarship Awards Committee will consider you for multiple scholarships, only one may be awarded at the discretion of the Committee. If you would like to learn more about your possible scholarship eligibility, please contact the relevant MBA Admissions Manager for your region.
If you are a scholarship recipient, you will be informed by an Admissions Manager at the time of the final decision of your application. The scholarship value you are offered will be deducted from the final MBA tuition fee instalment.
Scholarships available for the International Full-time MBA programme commencing January 2021 are:

We strongly recommend early application to the programme as we offer up to a maximum of two scholarships with a value of 50 per cent of the MBA tuition fee.

At RSM, diversity means a celebration of different perspectives and backgrounds that add to the dynamic in-class environment we are known for. Our diversity scholarships celebrate the wealth of backgrounds our students bring into class. The MBA Awards Committee takes in consideration your profile, such as your nationality, cultural background, gender, experience and upbringing, adding to our MBA diversity.
This Award is open to high-potential candidates who are in need of financial aid to enable them to pursue their MBA degree at RSM. During your MBA admissions process your regional Admissions Manager should be aware of your financial need through discussions that you have with them. You may be required to provide a financial plan which will be requested by your regional Admissions Manager.

Prodigy Finance’s innovative lending model offers community-funded loans to international students at the world’s top business schools, including RSM. While banks base their loan decisions on historical salaries, Prodigy looks to the future, and assesses applicants’ future earning potential – based on the past achievements of similar graduates – to determine loan affordability.
Prodigy’s model is borderless, allowing them to offer loans to over 150 nationalities of students, with no collateral or co-signer required. Interest rates vary depending on individual applicants. Read the details of the terms and conditions, and how to apply for a loan on Prodigy’s website.
The MBA loan is offered at an attractive interest rate and is available to candidates who have been accepted on the International Full-time MBA programme commencing January 2021. The loan application deadline is 1 December 2020. You can apply here.
When accepted for a Prodigy Finance loan, candidates must send their Prodigy Finance loan confirmation letter to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If offered a place on our MBA programme, depending on the loan amount this will impact your MBA instalments. You will need to calculate backwards from the 2nd instalment to the 1st instalment to find out how much you will be required to pay for the 1st instalment. Candidates must pay their admissions fee of €5,000 according to the terms in the MBA offer letter as it is not waived because of any potential Prodigy Finance loan arrangement.
