Teams from the Positive Change and Sustainable RSM movements at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) jointly organised a festive event to thank all student volunteers for their efforts in the past year and to kick off the new year. During this celebration, which took place on campus on Tuesday 16 January, the Positive Change team and Sustainable RSM jointly presented their projects and priorities for 2018.
The Sustainable RSM team presented their activities for the year, including the RSM Sustainability Forum on Friday 13 April 2018, and the Careers Driving Sustainable Development Panel on Wednesday 9 May. In addition, all the student volunteering groups and projects were introduced.
After the presentation, Amy Kan, special projects management Positive Change, and Joris Smal, student assistant Sustainable RSM, led a Get to Know You(r SDGs) Bingo based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. To conclude the event, all team members committed to their personal SDG-related new year’s resolutions and set targets for being a force for positive change in 2018. Examples of these targets include reduced use of plastic waste and increased consumption of plant-based food.
