Profile
Yu Liu is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Entrepreneurship in the Department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Her teaching interests are focused in the areas of entrepreneurship and global strategy. Her current research focuses on (1) internationalization of venture capital firms (2) inter-organizational networks in the global context, and (3) cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Yu graduated as Doctor of Science in Technology (with distinction) from Aalto University in 2017. Prior to that, she graduated as MSc (Eng.) from Aalto University (2011) and as B.B.A. in Financial Management from Wuhan University (2008). Her research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Research Policy.
She serves as ad-hoc reviewer for many top management and entrepreneurship journals including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and Research Policy.
