Meet the team

Eva has been a driving force behind numerous positive change ventures across the school. In the past year alone, she has recorded 77 videos on business & the Sustainable Development Goals, coordinated the creation of RSM's free online course (MOOC), Driving Business Towards the SDGs, and devised the RSM Escape Room.

She first joined RSM in programme management, then in alumni and corporate relations. Later she established networks for entrepreneurs that grew into the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. She set up the Erasmus Sustainability Hub, co-launched the Erasmus Honours Programme Grand Challenges, and worked on the launch of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. She holds a master in psychology from Utrecht University.

1. Co-designing and implementing Climate & Ecological Literacy to Action (immersion workshop): ‘knowledge to action’ program with the option of certification for EUR students and employees.

2. Coordinating Climate Cafe program. Participants listen to one another, share thoughts, feelings and questions in relation to the climate and ecological emergency declaration. Participant self-discovery; gain direction, connection with others and see possibilities moving forward.

3. Coaching Climate Action Team- ESH_PCI in the development of high-impact action projects addressing climate and ecology. Erasmus Sustainability Hub and Positive Change Initiative collaboration with the Nationaal Park Rotterdam Initiative. RSM students interacting with other EUR study programme peers: enhance climate literacy and skills while activating positive alternatives.

My desire is for BSc, MSc candidates and alumni to understand the urgency of this work and take on new learning. Engage opportunities to be better equipped in leading the needed transition of operating systems and practices within organisations.

After working as an SDG 7 Ambassador at Positive Change Initiative from 2021 to 2022 and as a Student Assistant from 2022 to 2023, Liva continues her role as a management trainee within the team. She coordinates various projects, one of which is the Erasmus University SDG Ambassador Programme, consisting of 17 ambassadors dedicated to translating their sustainable ambitions into practical initiatives. Additionally, Liva enjoys trying innovative approaches and establishing cross-sector partnerships for sustainable development.

Liva believes that sharing knowledge of sustainable practices and addressing the need for change through business activities is needed to create a positive impact. Her I WILL statement represents these ambitions: ‘I WILL share knowledge and positivity’.

Throughout his bachelors, he participated in various extracurricular activities. As the previous Head of Project Management of UNICEF Student Team Rotterdam, his focus was on raising awareness and funds, mainly in line with the SDGs 1 to 6, and 10. In parallel, he was the Manager of CirculEUR, an initiative of the Erasmus Sustainability Hub, that focused on providing second-hand home appliances to residents in student housing. This year, he will be leading the KPMG-RSM Sustainability Thesis Award team and assist with the Hummingbird fund.

Mathias believes that even though raising awareness for individual level change is crucial, it’s truly with business and institutional level change that a sustainable future will unveil itself with time. In the future, Mathias would like to work for an organization that is focused on developing mindsets towards more sustainable practices on an individual, business, and institutional level. 

Throughout her academic career, Isabella actively participated in various extracurricular activities. These included serving on a student board at EUR, acting as a Teacher Assistant at RSM, and gaining working experience at a consultancy firm.

Right now, her focus is on the Climate and Ecological Literacy to Action project, where her role involves supporting a new certificate-bearing immersion workshop. This workshop aims to empower students and employees of EUR to take meaningful climate action in their personal, professional, and community lives by implementing high-impact climate remedies.

She comes from Japan and has had the opportunity to study in both Canada and Amsterdam. Throughout her undergraduate years, she focused on sustainable marketing strategies, culminating in a thesis that explored how cause-related marketing campaigns could guide more environmentally responsible marketing practices.

Besides, she loves cycling and hiking, surrounded by nature! In addition to her academic pursuits, Isheco-founded a student startup organization that specializes in repurposing coffee bean waste into natural fertilizer, contributing to both waste reduction and sustainable agriculture. Her passion lies in acting as a bridge between individuals and the concept of sustainability. She aspire to help people connect with and embrace more eco-friendly practices, ultimately contributing to a greener, more environmentally conscious world.
