The new 16-month programme builds on the foundations of an existing 12-month programme, the MSc Finance & Investments. However, the Advanced programme goes beyond the scope of its shorter sister programme.
The new programme will feature small dedicated classes for developing in-depth knowledge of advanced finance topics, and particularly close involvement of companies and organisations that provide not only case studies and guest lectures, but also internships and recruitment.
Academic director of the programme is Professor Dirk Schoenmaker. “We aim to prepare the most able candidates for a quick start to their careers in finance by providing them with extra personal leadership development, interpersonal skills, technical skills and advanced theoretical knowledge.
“Students will be part of a carefully selected international class of like-minded individuals: talented and motivated students who want to become the best in their chosen profession. Those who are willing to put in extra effort and welcome the chance to be really challenged will benefit from a clear competitive advantage in the job market.”
The MSc Finance and Investments Advanced programme includes preparation for professional exams provided by the CFA Institute, a global community of investment professionals.
