Jurgen van Breukelen – Chairman Altice Group

Jurgen (1969) is Chairman of the Altice Group. Founded by French entrepreneur Patrick Drahi, Altice is a convergent global leader in telecom, content, media, entertainment and advertising. Grown into a >EUR 9 billion EBITDA company, Altice services 50 million customers in 10 countries, including the US, France and Portugal. Altice N.V. (ATC & ATCB) is listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Altice USA Inc. (ATUS) is listed on the NYSE.

Jurgen has an MSc degree in Business Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and is a retired 1st lieutenant in the Dutch Army (Royal Engineers). Before joining the board of Altice, he spent 21 years at KPMG. Aged 31, Jurgen became partner at KPMG, and was later head of Transactions & Restructuring, head of Advisory, Clients & Markets, and CEO of KPMG in the Netherlands respectively. As of 2011 he was also Member of the Global Executive Team & Global Board of KPMG, where he chaired KPMG's Global Quality & Risk Committee. He left the firm in 2015 to join the board of Altice.

In addition to his role at Altice, Jurgen is Senior Adviser / Co-Investor with private equity firm Permira Advisers LLP. He is also a Senior Adviser with Barclays Bank PLC.

Jurgen further serves on the board of Stichting Alzheimer Nederland, the Advisory Board of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and is Chairman of Bosal, an international automotive parts supplier. He sits on the investment committee of Ponooc, a private venture capital fund focusing on early stage growth capital.

Jurgen is married and has three children.
