DHL eCommerce, one of the divisions of DHL, is a world leader in both domestic and international parcel delivery, helping businesses grow within and beyond borders. DHL eCommerce employs 42,000 people moving more than a billion parcels each year across Europe, North America, Asia and India.
DHL eCommerce Benelux is one of the main delivery companies in the division and operates with 11.400 people.
Wouter van Benten studied Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After his studies he held various management positions across Europe in Royal Nedlloyd, Danzas, DHL Freight and DHL Express.
He had different non-executives roles with Pension Fund Transport (2008-2016), Transport en Logistiek Nederland (2012-2020), De Rijke Europe (2010-2016), Clecat (2006-2010). Currently he is member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam and Board Member of the EBU and DNHK.
