Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) is a full-service business school, providing bachelor, master, and executive education in various forms to students from around the world.

RSM’s educational activities are provided by two entities. The first is the publicly funded entity which is responsible for initial bachelor and master programmes. The second is a private limited liability company responsible for the executive programmes, also referred to as post-initial education. Together they make up the business school which is Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University or RSM.

The part providing the publicly funded education programmes is the business faculty (in Dutch ‘faculteit bedrijfskunde’) of Erasmus University Rotterdam.  Executive programmes are provided by the other, private part of RSM. This part is Rotterdam School of Management b.v. which is a fully owned affiliate of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

International accreditation authorities assess RSM in its entirety. However, not all executive programmes at RSM are degree programmes accredited by the Dutch NVAO. If you wish to obtain a degree it is advisable to check this before you register for a programme.

These RSM webpages provide you with – amongst other things – further information about your rights and responsibilities as an RSM student. Please be advised that these are different for initial and post-initial programmes.
