You’ll work at the heart of RSM’s Client Engagement Department, collaborating with colleagues and faculty to design and deliver high-impact transformative programmes – while owning the commercial relationship with your key clients.

If you’re a strategic professional who knows how to build trusted partnerships and deliver commercial results, this is an opportunity to make your mark at one of Europe’s top business schools.

Job description

As Key Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate clients. You’ll act as a trusted advisor – understanding their strategic priorities and translating them into tailored learning and development solutions.

Your focus will be on account growth, client retention, and new business development within existing relationships. You’ll work closely with programme managers, colleagues from Corporate & Alumni Relations, and RSM faculty to ensure that what we deliver meets client needs and exceeds expectations.

You are the lead point of contact for existing key clients, anticipating the client’s executive education needs, advising clients and managing communication between key clients and the internal team to ensure the client’s needs are met. You will also bring in new business from existing clients and develop strong and trusting relationships with major key clients.

The Key Account Manager will:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (HR/L&D directors, business unit leaders, C-level executives)
  • Partner with internal teams to design and deliver high-quality learning solutions
  • Represent RSM at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Track commercial performance and client satisfaction, and translate insights into action
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client engagement and sales approach

Job requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management, B2B sales, or business development, ideally in a service or education-related industry
  • Proven track record of achieving commercial targets and growing client accounts
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (hard requirement)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a consultative mindset
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in or have strong affinity with leadership/management development and adult learning
