MBA Elective Courses 2026

MBA-level courses to fit with your schedule

Each elective is delivered in six classroom sessions of three hours. Courses run on chosen weekdays and weekends from September to December, so you can slot study alongside work and other commitments. 

Teaching takes place face-to-face on the campus of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), creating space for lively discussion with faculty and classmates. With places reserved for current MBA candidates and alumni, you learn alongside peers who share your experience and goals.

Electives enrolment information

Course requirements

All elective courses are held in-person and there are no recordings made. By enrolling, you agree to attend all sessions and complete all academic requirements for the course, including class participation and individual and/or team assignments. If you do not complete requisite assignments or miss multiple classes, you may be asked to drop the course, and you will not receive a refund. Only upon successful completion of the academic requirements of the course, can you request a transcript from the Registrar's Office.

Course fees

Electives are priced at a non-refundable fee of €2000 per course. 

 

A discounted rate is available to current students and to alumni for the first three years of elective sessions following their graduation. The alumni discount may be applied to one course per year only. Alumni who wish to enrol in multiple elective courses, please select the full rate for any additional courses. 

 

Course fees include all case studies but exclude textbooks. Not all courses require textbooks - check the course information as you are responsible for purchasing books.

Enrolment deadlines

The elective courses are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and enrolments must be received by the following deadlines:

 

  • Courses starting in September - Enrolment closed on Sunday 2 August 2026
  • Courses starting in October - Enrol by Sunday 16 August 2026
  • Courses starting in November - Enrol by Sunday 30 August 2026
