If you are in Europe, you don't need to travel far from home and family to immerse yourself in global business and culture during your MBA, says Recruitment & Admissions Manager Sharlene Bell. RSM's Full-time MBA classroom is 99 percent international, which makes it one of the most international classrooms in the world.
What makes it easier to work and live in the Netherlands is that the Dutch are ranked the world's best non-native speakers of English. This allows you to go about your daily life and interact with the locals without any problem. You will also find that in many workplaces, especially in bigger companies, English is the preferred language.
Our candidates also value that the Netherlands hosts many multinational companies, such as Unilever, Philips, Amazon and ASML. While nobody know what exactly will happen to the economy in the coming years, such companies have developed extensive talent programmes over the last years, so opportunites for MBA graduates are likely to remain. Traditionally, around 80% of our graduates have found a job in the Netherlands, which is reflected in our high FT ranking for international mobility (2nd in the world).
To increase your chances at starting a career in the Netherlands, we always advise to start networking early, already during your MBA. Fortunately, you are not on your own. Our MBA Career Services Centre sets you up with intensive career coaching, company visits, network events and a well-visited Career Fair.
Are you from Europe and considering an MBA? Don't hesitate to reach out to Sharlene to discuss your options, have your CV assessed or to schedule a consultation session. We look forward to starting the conversation with you. You can learn more about our Full-time MBA programme here.
