Financing your EMBA may be a challenge. Below you will find a list of financial aid possibilities currently available. Since it is impossible to list every opportunity here, we suggest researching financial assistance offered from your own country. The information on RSM Scholarships may be reviewed and updated throughout the year, and are offered discretionary by the RSM Scholarship Awards Committee. If you are a recipient of our financial aid, you will be informed by an Admissions Manager at the time of the final decision of your application. The value is given as a tuition fee waiver and will be deducted from the final EMBA tuition fee instalment. Please revisit this part of our website for any amendments to our scholarship offerings. Candidates that secure company sponsorship for the EMBA programme are not eligible for a scholarship award.

EMBA scholarships

Each year, RSM offers a limited amount of financial assistance to Executive MBA candidates. While the RSM Scholarship Awards Committee evaluates each request on a case-by-case basis, in general, we base our evaluation on a candidate’s financial needs, unique or exceptional professional experience and previous academic performance. Current scholarships include:

  • RSM Entrepreneur Award
  • RSM Women in Business Award
  • RSM Distinguished Expat in Business Award
  • RSM Distinguished Dutch in Business Award
  • RSM Rising Talent MBA Scholarship

For more information on financial assistance possibilities, please contact the EMBA Recruitment & Admissions Manager who will be happy to discuss the opportunities with you.

Tax benefits and financial funding

MBA students in Germany who are self financing their programme may be able to deduct tuition fees from the income tax they pay within Germany.

On 1 September 2017, the Dutch government introduces a new loan of up to €10.030,20 per year for higher education.

Lendwise is a specialist loan provider based in the UK which is dedicated to education finance for individuals who are looking to fund their studies at world class universities.

Lendwise's aim is to enable access to education through its affordable and flexible student loans that come with a fixed interest rate and no early repayment penalties. Interest rates are personalised and depend on an applicant’s overall profile including future earning potential, and the application process is entirely online. Full time programme students have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation.

UK, EU and North American nationals are eligible for a Lendwise Loan. For other nationalities, Lendwise will review your application on a case-by-case basis.

Contact Lendwise direct to apply or if you have any questions about Lendwise or your RSM loan application.

If offered a place on our MBA programme, depending on the loan amount, this will impact the MBA instalment payment schedule. If you are accepted for a Lendwise loan, candidates must request a loan confirmation letter and email a copy to us at finance@rsm.nl who will liaise with you further regarding this. Candidates must pay their admissions fee of €5,000 according to the terms in the MBA offer letter as it is not waived because of any potential Lendwise loan arrangement.
