Driving Customs Performance with Data and Technology in the Changing Landscape of Global Trade

The World Customs Organization (WCO) is delighted to announce the upcoming WCO Technology Conference & Exhibition, which will be held in Maastricht from 18 to 20 October 2022.

The Customs administration of the Netherlands will co-host this important high-level event in the capital and largest city of the province of Limburg, Maastricht, where a warm welcome will be extended to all the participants at the Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Centre (MECC).

Under the theme "Driving Customs performance with data and technology in the changing landscape of global trade", the Conference is aimed at exploring technology-supported solutions enabling Customs to operate in a fully digital environment and create an operating model that captures and exploits data from across the trade ecosystem.

A variety of technology-related topics will be discussed during the three-day event, including the Customs-to-Customs exchange of information, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the implications of the growing volumes of e-commerce on Customs processes and procedures.

The WCO Technology Conference offers excellent opportunities for Customs administrations and their stakeholders to obtain the latest

information about trends and developments in the field of technology whilst facilitating discussions on Customs modernization and

capacity building programs.
