Opening a new brewery, bar, and restaurant in the height of the pandemic might have phased some people, but not to Erasmus alumnus, Harm van Deuren! Amidst shipyards and fruit warehouses in the M4H District, he converted an old warehouse into a state-of-the-art brewery, working closely together with Rotterdam’s municipality and several sustainable partners, such as the Floating Farm. Business has gone from strength to strength, and they are also now proud to be perhaps the most sustainable brewery in The Netherlands!
During this event you will not only discover the world of sustainable brewing, but will also learn more about the latest sustainable trends in food from trendwatcher and initiator of De Buik van Rotterdam, Gijsbregt Brouwer. And as a bonus, you will also be able to taste some sustainable and delicious snacks created for us by the Alumni of Erasmus University Rotterdam who founded Jack Bean and Falafval.
