The official opening of the academic year of the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education was held on 19 October. 114 new MSc students from 39 different countries were welcomed by the IHE Delft Rector and the president of the Student Association Board. RSM's Rob van Tulder was the keynote speaker, and spoke about living in a 'VUCA' world - Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous. "We are trying to make sense of the constantly changing challenges brought on by politics, economics, society and the environment", he says.
