This article, which discusses how algorithms are now able to make decisions and select or control people, references RSM PhD candidate Colin Lee's research. Which CV is picked up first by professional recruiters from the pile of job applications? Lee analysed nearly 450,000 real CVs and applications. With that information, he wrote an algorithm that can predict who is invited to a job interview, with an accuracy of up to 80 percent.
