Good and bad news: the number of companies that made the jump from startup to 'scale up' increased last year by 5.4 percent to 3,237 companies, according the annual ScaleUp Dashboard study led by Justin Jansen of RSM. These are companies that have grown in turnover by 20 percent or more for three years. Because the total number of companies in the Netherlands has also increased sharply, the share of fast growers has fallen slightly to 5.1 percent of companies in the Netherlands.
