Entrepreneur and activist Sywert van Lienden gets the full brunt because of the millions he made by selling face masks to the government. But his business partners, Bernd Damme and Camille van Gestel, may also have to return their millions of profits to save their reputation.

For Bernd Damme, supplying mouth caps to the government was yet another initiative. ‘One that he may have earned more with than any other,’ says professor of business ethics Muel Kaptein of the RSM of Erasmus University. “It is logical that entrepreneurs want to make a profit. But is what happened here an example of good entrepreneurship? I think you can question that morally."
