Despite sharing common goals, women's networks in the Netherlands often operate in isolation rather than collaborating to achieve their objectives, according to research by the Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) at the Rotterdam School of Management. While many of the organisations expressed a desire to work together to raise awareness of their work, most continued to function independently. Barriers to collaboration included a lack of transparency and concerns that the groups were too dissimilar.
