PhD candidate Begüm Çeliktutan and Assistant Professor Romain Cadario have worked with Carey Morewedge, professor at Boston University Questrom School of Business, to show that people recognize more of their biases in algorithms’ decisions than they do in their own—even when those decisions are the same.
