The current economic recession will require openness and cooperation: this was the concensus at the recent Hay Group Vision Society's debate on innovation and co-creation. HGVS president, Henk Volberda, added about social innovation: "Between 2006 and 2008 Dutch companies performed better but implemented few innovations. I hope that this trend will change, but fear that all of the figures [regarding social innovation] will continue to plummet."
