The increase in popularity of electric cars, could potentially cause a black-out in the electricity system if all cars are being charged at the same time in a neighborhood. Therefore, Konstantina Valogianni developed an algorithm to prevent this and instruct the car of the best time to start charging, also potentially decreasing the electricity bill.
