Volunteering provides a valuable contribution to our society. This helps to convince critics, and more importantly, to reach decision makers and (potential) sponsors of the value of volunteering and to emphasize that this value is not obvious. The Department of Professor Lucas Meijs Erasmus University has developed three perspectives to reflect that approach.
