Embarking on your MBA is an exciting step. At the same time, choosing to pursue an MBA requires a significant investment of both time and resources. Beyond selecting a programme that best fits your goals, careful consideration of how to finance your studies is essential. Below is an overview of the financial aid opportunities currently available at RSM.
As it is not possible to list every funding option, we also encourage you to explore scholarships and financial assistance offered in your home country. Please note that information on RSM scholarships is reviewed and updated throughout the year, and all awards are granted at the discretion of the RSM MBA Awards Committee.
If you have additional questions or would like to discuss your unique financial situation, please contact the Full-time MBA Recruitment & Admissions Managers.
All applicants who submit a complete online MBA application are automatically considered for scholarships by the RSM MBA Awards Committee. RSM scholarships are designed to recognise academic excellence, career performance, and the diverse perspectives candidates bring to the MBA classroom. Scholarship amounts vary and are awarded based on the overall strength of your MBA application, including an applicant's essay(s), professional and academic profile, standardised test score, admissions interview, and overall assessment.
As part of the application process, applicants can choose to upload an additional scholarship essay of up to 500 words via the “Additional Documents” section in the online application. In this essay, applicants are invited to describe their alignment with just one of the scholarships listed below. While submission of this essay is optional, the Admissions Team strongly encourages applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to further showcase their achievements, values, and unique personal journey to both the Admissions Committee and the MBA Awards Committee.
Scholarship deadlines run parallel with MBA application deadlines, meaning submission of an MBA application is required to be considered for financial aid. Applicants are considered for multiple scholarships; however, only one scholarship may be awarded at the discretion of the Committee. All scholarship, except the Alumni Lifelong Learning award and RSM Fellows award, may be granted in varying amounts.
Applicants who are awarded financial aid will be informed by their Admissions Manager at the time of the final admissions decision. Scholarships are granted in the form of a tuition fee waiver and are applied to the final MBA tuition fee instalment.
If you would like to learn more about your potential scholarship eligibility, please contact the MBA Recruitment & Admissions Manager for your region.
