MBA scholarships

At RSM we value the diversity of our incoming students. For us, diversity means a celebration of different perspectives and backgrounds that add to the dynamic in-class environment we are known for. Our diversity scholarships celebrate the wealth of backgrounds our students bring into class. If you think that your profile or aspects thereof (such as your nationality, cultural background, gender, experience, upbringing etc.) will add to our RSM MBA diversity, then this is the scholarship for you.

Eligibility

Any MBA candidate who has submitted his/her online MBA application to our International Full-time MBA Programme commencing in January 2019 is eligible to apply to the RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship.

Candidates may only submit one application to the MBA Diversity Scholarship.  If you are not successful in your scholarship application you are not eligible to apply to any further additional MBA Diversity Scholarship rounds.

How to Apply

If you wish to be eligible for the MBA Diversity Scholarship, you will need to:

Submit your online MBA application to our International Full-time MBA Programme commencing in January 2019 by one of the MBA interview round deadlines as outlined above.

Complete the RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship Application Agreement and email your signed Applicant Agreement to the RSM Financial Aid Office at finaid@rsm.nl. Scholarship applications must be submitted relevant to the MBA application round for which you have applied (please refer to the above MBA interview round deadlines outlined above).

Candidates may only submit one application to the MBA Diversity Scholarship.  If you are not successful in your scholarship application you are not eligible to apply to any further additional MBA Diversity Scholarship rounds.

Selection Process

The Scholarship is merit-based and thus the RSM MBA Awards Committee will select the candidate based on your MBA application.  For example, essays, CV, GMAT, business case (if applicable), admissions interview. Furthermore, the Awards Committee will look at your profile or aspects thereof such as your nationality, cultural background, gender, experience, upbringing, sustainability etc.

Scholarship Results

The scholarship review process is in line with the MBA admissions process.  The scholarship winner will be formally notified if he/she is a recipient of the Diversity Scholarship at the same time as being informed of his/her acceptance to the MBA Programme.

Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University MBA Dean’s Assistance Award is open to high potential candidates who are in need of financial aid to enable them to pursue their MBA degree at RSM.  The Award is offered as a MBA tuition fee waiver.

How to Apply

If you wish to be eligible for the MBA Dean’s Assistance Award, you will need to:

Submit his/her online MBA application to our International Full-time MBA Programme commencing in January 2019 is by one of the MBA interview round deadlines as outlined above.

Submit a Financial Forecast/Plan to be attached with the Dean’s Assistance Award Application Agreement and send these documents by e-mail to finaid@rsm.nl.  This additional Financial Plan should clearly show an estimation of how you are going to raise the funds for your MBA study and should be realistic, open and honest indication of your financial costs/need.  Motivation letters will not be accepted. Whilst we have a number of Dean's Assistance Awards, we do not offer full tuition fee scholarships.

The RSM MBA Awards Committee will assess the merit of your Dean’s Assistance Award application on the basis of your financial overview submitted of your financial need. They will also look at all aspects of your MBA application and what you will bring to the MBA programme is considered.

RSM MBA Alumni Lifelong Learning Award 2018

At Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) we believe in and foster life-long learning. In recognition of this ideal, we are offering graduates from the RSM and EUR Bachelor and/or Master degrees a 10% MBA Lifelong Learning Award offered as a tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility

Candidate must be a RSM/EUR Alumni from one of the Bachelor or Master programmes and produce the required graduate diploma and transcripts to support the degree.

Has submitted his/her MBA online application to our International Full-time MBA Programme commencing January 2019, by the MBA interview round deadline as outlined below:

Award Review Process

Candidate’s RSM Erasmus University diploma and transcripts have been verified by the RSM MBA Admissions Committee. The Award is merit-based and the Awards Committee will review the MBA application.

Candidates may only submit one application to the MBA Alumni Lifelong Learning Award.  If you are not successful in your award application you are not eligible to apply to any further additional MBA Alumni Lifelong Learning Award rounds.
