Profile
My research focuses on strategic management and sustainability, with a particular interest in social evaluation, status, and reputation. I examine how these forces shape firms’ responses to external scrutiny and nonmarket pressures, especially in the areas of CSR strategy, CSR decoupling, ESG disclosure, and corporate misconduct. More broadly, I am interested in when firms choose symbolic versus substantive actions and how public recognition and evaluation affect those choices. My work mainly relies on archival data and causal empirical methods.
