Mert Çetin is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University (Netherlands). He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management and a Master's in Research in Management from IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Spain.
His research focuses on retail operations, specifically examining how retailers can adapt to the omnichannel environment. His areas of interest include designing physical store networks, assortment planning, and return management. Additionally, he investigates behavioral operations management issues, such as the impact of LGBTQ+ inclusive signage—specifically rainbow stickers—on customer server selection.
