Richard Hageman is Managing Director of Rotterdam School of Management BV, the part of RSM responsible for post-experience and executive education – including our MBA programmes.
Richard is part of RSM’s Executive Board and executive director on RSM BV’s One-Tier board. He has strategic responsibility for RSM BV staff and operations, as well as the organisation’s health and effectiveness.
He is an RSM alumnus himself, having attended the pre-experience Drs./BSc/MSc programmes, with majors in Business Information Management, Corporate Finance and Investments, graduating in 2008. Besides his studies, he played competitive basketball at a professional level in the Netherlands’ highest and second highest junior and senior leagues.
As avid lifelong learner, Richard has completed an extensive list of executive courses and professional certifications at RSM and various (partner) schools and institutions, including IMD and Gies College of Business.
With a passion for business information and innovation, Richard started working at RSM in this field, starting in Business Intelligence and as Business Consultant and Project Manager, rising to Director of Innovation Management and Consulting and Chief Information Officer. He was appointed to the RSM board as Chief Operating Officer of RSM BV in 2020 and became Managing Director in 2023.
