Job description
Your role is to support our bachelor’s and master’s teaching programmes through innovative and experiential teaching, with a strong focus on personal and professional development and/or consulting.
Tasks may include:
- Designing and facilitating bachelor’s and master’s courses on personal development and professional skill development;
- Teaching master’s courses on consulting and change management;
- Guiding and coaching master’s students working on consultancy projects and supporting them in applying their skills in real organisational contexts.
Job requirements
For this role, we prefer that you:
- Hold a master’s degree in management, human resources, organisational behaviour, organisational psychology, change management/consulting, or a closely related field;
- Demonstrate a strong interest in and ability to teach and facilitate learning in the field of personal development and professional development, including skill development and coaching-related content;
- Have excellent command of English and the ability to teach at an academic level (CEFR level C1)
- Have completed the University Teaching Qualification (BKO) or equivalent, or are willing to acquire that soon.
- Ability to teach in Dutch
- Experience with experiential, interactive, or skills-based teaching methods (e.g., facilitation, coaching, workshops, simulations); Coaching training and ICF certification;
- Experience in consulting and/or change management

- You are a passionate educator who is committed to a safe and engaging learning environment in which students feel comfortable to learn, experiment, and develop their skills;
- You are able to deliver interactive, experiential, and competency-based education and are skilled at facilitating reflection, giving constructive feedback, and supporting the development of professional and interpersonal skills;
- Preferably, you are skilled in engaging with stakeholders within organisations (e.g. recruiting organisations to participate in consulting projects, maintaining relationships, etc.)
- You are a team player and are open to collaborating with various faculty members across different courses and programmes;
- You are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and providing thoughtful and constructive feedback to students;
- You are proactive, well-organised, conscientious, and act with integrity.
Employment conditions and benefits
- A full-time contract (0.8-1.0 FTE) for one year with the intention of converting to a permanent contract.
- The role may start as early as possible but preferably no later than August 2026.
- We offer excellent training and career development opportunities. You will closely collaborate with experienced faculty members in developing and delivering courses at the BSc, MSc, and/or postgraduate MBA levels. RSM has a dedicated Learning Innovation Team, which supports faculty members in improving and innovating their courses and programmes.
- The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU).
- Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of € 4,412 gross per month (scale 10 CAO NU) up to a maximum of € 6,433 gross per month (scale 11 CAO NU), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
- Erasmus University has attractive employment conditions, which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent, and a considerable amount of vacation days.
