Introduction

For the current academic year 2025/2026, the Department of Technology and Operations Management has open positions for Grading Assistants for Advanced Quantitative Methods course. As a grading assistant you will be asked to grade open-ended questions for the BSc Management programme at RSM.

Job description

Grading will take place during April 9–23 and June 18–25. Applicants should be available for a minimum of 24 hours within these periods (preferably 4–5 days per period).

Applicants available in both periods are preferred, but those available only for the April period will also be considered.

Job requirements

Applicants should have knowledge in areas such as statistics, empirical methods, or simulation modelling at least at the advanced Bachelor level. Ideally, candidates are currently enrolled in a Master's programme with a significant quantitative component (e.g., Management, Economics, Econometrics).

Please note

To be one of our TAs you must live in the Netherlands. Applicants must have a Dutch address, a Dutch social security number (BSN), and a work permit. Applicants must be registered as students.

Employment conditions and benefits

You will be compensated through EURFlex based on hours worked, according to the SA salary scale. In Spring 2026, this amounted to a gross hourly rate of €18,53 for second- and third-year students, and €19.18 for master students.
