Case Writing Workshop

Our Case Writing Workshop is aimed at writers of all levels, whether you have never written a teaching case before or want to advance your existing skills. Our instructors guide you through the full process of crafting a compelling teaching case, from finding your hook, to structuring the narrative, to preparing an accompanying teaching note. You will also learn to develop the supporting materials to make the learning experience more engaging and interactive.  

Case Teaching Workshop

Our Case Teaching Workshop is designed for educators new to the case method. Combining theory, discussion, and exercises, the workshop helps you select the right material, tailor your approach to your audience, and manage classroom discussion and dynamics. 

Case Development 

We offer two types of support: full-package case development, where we handle interviews, desk research, drafting, and editing; or guided case development, where we support you through the process while you take the lead.

Full-package case development

Short on time or new to case writing? We will handle the process from start to finish.

• We work with you to define the case focus and learning objectives.

• We conduct research and interviews.

• We draft the case, teaching note, and any supporting materials.

• You review and approve. Then it is ready to be taught.

Guided case development

Want to write the case yourself with expert support along the way?

• We work with you to define the case focus and learning objectives.

• You conduct research, interviews, and drafting with our guidance throughout.

• We give detailed feedback to help you refine your drafts.

• Once it meets our standards, we help you polish it for use.

Case Clinic

Already have a teaching case and want to sharpen it further? We will give you expert feedback to help you refine it. 

We review: 

• The quality of your case, teaching note, and any supporting materials 
• Whether everything aligns with your intended learning objectives 
• How engaging and effective the materials are for students

Editorial and Publication 

Want your teaching case to be used beyond your own classroom and university? We can help you publish it.

Quality review and peer feedback

We check the quality and readiness of your case and can arrange peer review from other educators. Use this feedback to refine your materials until they meet publication standards. 

Preparing for publication

We help you format your materials, copy edit, and prepare the documents publishers require such as metadata and release forms, so your case is fully ready to be published.

We distribute cases through leading publishers and platforms including The Case Centre, Harvard Business Impact, Ivey Publishing, and Sage Business. We will help you choose the most suitable channel to give your case maximum visibility and reach educators worldwide.
