RSM alumni kicked off 2025 with a record number of global gatherings that celebrated connection, culture and learning. From New Year’s events in Dubai, Rotterdam, Lisbon and Paris to leadership masterclasses in Germany and AI seminars in Spain, the first quarter of the year was filled with energy and insight. Highlights included the launch of the Denmark RSM alumni chapter, art and film events in New York and Rotterdam, and community celebrations from Singapore to Sofia.
Moments of connection and celebration
Spring and summer were packed with opportunities to reconnect. Alumni in São Paulo gathered on 15 May for relaxed after-work drinks in Itaim Bibi, while Rotterdam hosted its first-ever alumni padel competition on 24 May, bringing together players of all levels for a morning of sport, networking and friendly rivalry.
In Sofia, members of the Dutch Alumni Club marked their third anniversary on 6 June with a festive evening at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands. Just a week later, on 13 June, alumni in Dubai toasted the start of summer at The Wavehouse, Atlantis The Palm, while Amsterdam’s Russian-speaking PrivetRSM community enjoyed lively summer drinks on 12 July.
Exploring new places, strengthening old ties
Nature lovers in Indonesia laced up their hiking boots on 2 August for a scenic alumni trek through Curug Leuwi Asih, while the London MBA community connected students and alumni, who were on a Finance Industry study trip, by joining a networking dinner on 30 August. In Luxembourg, alumni gathered on 4 September at the city’s beloved Schueberfouer funfair for an evening of local treats and laughter.
A milestone moment
RSM’s 100th alumni event of the year took place on 20 September in the Netherlands. This event marked the launch for the new Latin American alumni communities, the chapter of which is located in the Netherlands. Students and graduates from across Latin America – including Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru – came together in Rotterdam to celebrate their shared roots and shape the future of their country-specific networks. The event underscored RSM’s commitment to supporting diaspora communities and helping alumni connect with others from their home countries.
As 2025 enters its final stretch, the RSM alumni network shows no sign of slowing down. The community continues to embody the school’s spirit of connection, collaboration, and lifelong learning – proving once again that wherever they are in the world, RSM alumni are never far from a friendly face.
