The International Study Trip is Part III of the Part-time Executive Master in Corporate Communication at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). It gives participants the opportunity to explore corporate communication, reputation and stakeholder engagement in a different international business context.
Through academic sessions, company visits, cultural experiences and peer reflection, you examine how communication leaders respond to complex stakeholder expectations across markets, institutions and societies. The trip helps you broaden your perspective, challenge assumptions and strengthen the strategic judgement needed to advise leaders in international and cross-cultural environments.
Senior communication and corporate affairs professionals increasingly operate across borders, stakeholder groups and societal expectations. The International Study Trip helps you step outside your own organisational context and explore how trust, reputation, leadership and communication are shaped by local conditions.
The next International Study Trip will take place in Barcelona from 11 to 15 April 2027. Barcelona offers a dynamic setting for exploring corporate communication in an international business context, with strong links to innovation, entrepreneurship, culture and global organisations.
During the trip, participants attend sessions at leading business schools such as IESE and ESADE, and visit local companies and cultural institutions.
