The evening opened with a plenary session led by the Managing Director of RSM BV, Richard Hageman, who highlighted the importance of continuous learning in a world shaped by rapid technological and societal change. “In a time when change is constant, the ability to keep learning is what sets professionals apart,” he said. “At RSM, we design learning experiences that not only build knowledge but also help people create meaningful impact in their organisations and beyond.”
This set the stage for a series of faculty-led workshops, where participants actively engaged with topics shaping today’s business landscape. In sessions on leadership, sustainability, data and AI, and personal development, attendees experienced first-hand how RSM combines academic insight with real-world application.
Between sessions, the energy continued at the programme fair. Conversations flowed as participants connected with faculty, alumni and programme advisors, exploring which learning journey best matched their ambitions. With more than 30 RSM colleagues present, there was ample opportunity for tailored advice and meaningful exchanges.
Opportunities to connect
Anca Nicoara, RSM project manager marketing, said, “The participants were a nice mix of Dutch and internationals, and they created a genuine and warm atmosphere. People were curious about how we can support their careers. They all attended the masterclasses and engaged in all four sessions.
“It was lovely to see how our guests connected with each other as well as with our RSM colleagues. We hope to see them again soon, and next time, as our students."
