The pressure is on in international trade. While more goods are moved with higher speed, the bar is raised for security and transparency. When goods enter the European border, stakeholders need information about matters such as EU customs law, food and product safety and plant protection. Frank Heijmann, head of international trade relations at Customs Administration of the Netherlands, will talk about the role of customs.
Prof. Yao-Hua Tan, TU Delft and Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University will discuss what this means process and IT-systems.
