It is not possible to choose for a specific RSM scholarship in OLAF, except for the Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship. RSM will decide whether you will get awarded a scholarship and - if so - which one.

Studiefinanciering is a Dutch study grant paid by the Dutch Ministry of Education through a governmental organization called DUO. It is a monthly loan for Dutch and other EEA students (passport holder) meant to finance living expenses, such as rent and other daily costs.

Rotterdam School of Management offers a limited number of scholarships - mostly partial tuition fee waivers - for excellent applicants from non-EEA countries and EEA countries.

In order to apply for an institutional scholarship, please follow the steps below:
1. Register in Studielink for the BSc IBA programme from 1 October 2021;
2. Continue your application in our Online Application Form (OLAF), after you've received the link per email (within
24 hours. In OLAF, you will be asked to indicate whether you wish to apply for a scholarship or not. If so, you will be requested to upload the following supporting documents:
- A scholarship motivation letter
- A budget plan for year 1, 2 and 3 of the programme
3. Submit your completed OLAF application before 1 February 2022;
4. Wait for the scholarship decision. The scholarship committee will determine award recipient(s) on 15 April 2022 (15 May for the Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship);
4. Accept your scholarship offer within 2 weeks;
5. Start your Visa application before 1 June 2022

In general, we select the scholarship recipients based on merits (like GPA) and financial need.
Academic excellence in previous education is proven if the grade point average achieved at secondary school (measured to date) is at least equivalent to the Dutch grade of 8.0 on the Dutch grading scale 1 – 10.
Besides, you have to be aware that you will have to agree on a few general criteria before you applying for a scholarship:
- Only students who are not recipients of any other scholarships exceeding the amount of € 5,000 in total in that same academic year can apply for the scholarship;
- By accepting this scholarship you agree to assist the RSM Recruitment and Admissions Office in the role of an Ambassador with promotional and support activities for approximately 8 hours per month during the academic year;
- By accepting this scholarship you agree to start your visa procedure before 1 June 2022. RSM holds the right to cancel your scholarship if you have not started your visa procedure and holds the right to offer the scholarship to a student on the scholarship waiting list.
