Proud faces of family, friends, academics and of course graduates illuminated the three theatre halls at convention centre De Doelen in downtown Rotterdam on Saturday 1 October 2022. They celebrated their academic achievements at the master graduation ceremonies of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
Every programme had its own ceremony, either in the Grote Zaal, the Willem Burger Zaal or the Jurriaanse Zaal of De Doelen in Rotterdam’s city centre. Each ceremony featured a presentation by the programme’s academic director and a graduate speaker. RSM Dean Ansgar Richter and Director of Alumni Relations Sue Martin also congratulated graduates and welcomed them to the RSM alumni network.
Graduates in high demand
In addition to students graduating cum laude, there was also one summa cum laude. Maximiliaan Sloof from the MSc in Business Information Management (BIM) graduated with the highest distinction.
RSM graduates are in high demand in the international business world. The MSc Employment Report from last year’s graduates shows that 94 per cent of them was employed within 6 months after graduation. More than half of the graduates landed a job even before graduation. The report specifies the average starting salary per MSc programme, as well as the top employers, industries and countries of employment.
