A lunchtime seminar on the role of case-based learning in undergraduate (pre-experience) education takes place on 19 November at RSM . The hour-long session is the latest quarterly Brown Bag seminar on creating memorable cases, hosted by RSM’s Case Development Centre (CDC), and features Dr Ing Wynand Bodewes, Associate Professor at Tilburg School of Economics and Management, who will share his experience of using case-based learning in undergraduate education, reflecting on how cases can be used to deepen student engagement and create richer learning experiences.
Drawing on his teaching practice, Dr Bodewes will discuss the role of cases in pre-experience programmes, including when cases are most effective relative to lectures and other learning activities. The seminar will feature a presentation followed by a discussion.
The seminar will cover:

- When cases are most effective compared to lectures and other learning activities
