As an experienced manager in the sporting goods and FMCG sectors, Cilia developed her knowledge of the industries while sharpening her vision of the recruitment, merchandising and project management functions. She has always been drawn towards learning about sustainable practices, and how to combine profitability with sustainability at the core of one’s business. After 5+ years in the sportswear industry, Cilia joined Nexio Projects as CPO & Managing Partner. Nexio Projects, a sustainability consultancy firm, guides organisations through their journey from compliance to purpose.

Dr. David Friedman (RSM MBA FT2001) is Head of Global Marketing for General Industries at Dätwyler AG, as well as an adjunct professor at EU Business School in Geneva and ESTICE-ESPAS in Lille. With a focus on driving business transformation and innovation, and a passion for sustainability, Dr. Friedman has held various strategic roles internationally, with brands ranging from Nissan and Ford, to AGCO and CIBC.

Father of two teens, Mia and Olivia, Dr. Friedman is originally from Toronto, Canada, and currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.

Nathalie is a sustainability-focused communications expert with over 14 years of experience in public & government relations, reputation/crisis management, marketing and C-Level communications with expertise in the areas of sustainable value chains, social impact, agri-food, and climate & energy.

Nathalie has a BA from the University College Maastricht (UCM) where she focused on Sustainable Development and Organizations. A MSc in Public Policy and Sustainable Development. She is also an RSM alumni after finishing her EMBA in 2022

She is currently the Head of Global Communications at Kemira Oyj, a global chemicals company serving customers in water-intensive industries.

Thom is an RSM MSc Global Business and Sustianability alumnus from the class of 2021. Thom started his own company ABC Sustain and now helps companies create more sustainable impact in their business models. Amongst others, he helps companies determine their sustainability position, guides them in their transformation as well as measuring impact or obtaining certifications such as Bcorp. Thom has experience with SME companies from various industries.

Mary Jane Roy is a highly motivated and dedicated corporate advisor, facilitator and presenter, sharing with others how to develop more effective strategies to thrive in their lives. She started her career as a Military Nursing Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, with a specialty in cardiac diagnostics. After leaving her military career, she worked for the next three plus decades in multiple industries.

Since 2009, Mary Jane has accrued various certifications, all adding to her mastery of the skills needed to thrive. She loves to present on these topics for groups, both in-person and online. Her belief? With the proper knowledge & tools, we can ALL improve our resiliency to what life brings onto our path AND thrive in life.

Markus Lodensträter is the Senior Managing Partner at Gartner Switzerland, leading the Consulting Business for Energy/Utilities and Manufacturing clients in Switzerland and Germany. He has over 15 years of experience in developing sourcing strategies and operating models, managing partner and vendor selection, solution implementation and governance, and leading market strategy assignments for several IT providers.

Before joining Gartner, Markus worked as a Strategy and Sourcing Advisor at QS Advisory in London, focusing on strategic sourcing and global project management cross industry. Prior to that, he was a Project Manager and Senior Consultant at IBM Global Business Services in Germany.

Markus holds an MBA degree in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and is fluent in German and English, with knowledge of Dutch and Mandarin.

Pedram Assadi has joined Delivery Hero Europe as CEO since January 2023. In his current role, he is focused on growing and supporting Europe’s Quick Commerce and Delivery business. Delivery Hero Europe is composed of foodora in Austria, Czech, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Sweden and Slovakia, and Yemeksepeti, in Turkey.

Previously, Pedram has been the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of foodpanda, the Delivery Hero entity in Asia Pacific. In that role, he was focused on all ongoing business operations in the region, and spearheaded commercial growth and expansion efforts across the 11 markets in which foodpanda operates.

Pedram began his career within the food delivery industry eight years ago, having started his own food delivery company in the Middle East. He then moved to Dubai as Head of Operations at Uber. Prior to his work in the food delivery industry, Pedram held tenures at Amazon, IBM and Rocket Internet. Pedram graduated from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University, majoring in International Business Administration.

Adrianna Gorska is an experienced professional with over 10 years of expertise in consulting, program management, and customer engagement. She has successfully led projects and provided valuable insights at renowned companies like Capgemini in Poland and the Netherlands. Adrianna's diverse skill set includes working with EMEA clients and driving sustainable transportation and logistics solutions. During her time at Amazon in Luxembourg, she played a pivotal role in expanding the branded fleet across multiple European countries, including the UK, Poland, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy. Notably, she spearheaded the introduction of the first electric vehicles in the Amazon fleet, making a significant contribution to the company's achievement of its climate pledge. Currently, as a manager in the public sector at AWS in the UAE, Adrianna focuses on innovation and digital transformation.  Alongside her professional achievements, Adrianna is also passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities, with over 15 years of experience in this field. Fluent in multiple languages, educated in the UK, US, Netherlands and Poland her strong communication skills foster effective collaboration on a global scale.

Kartik Moorthy is an experienced Associate at Dillon Consulting, an employee owned professional consulting firm based out of Canada, specializing in sustainability strategies, carbon emission tracking, and GHG management. With over 13 years of experience, he is a thought leader with a data-based approach to developing innovative solutions for a range of sustainability issues, including Scope 3 emissions, corporate sustainability, and business process transformation. He holds an MBA, and was part of the Dean's Honours List, from Rotterdam School of Management.

He has a Master’s degree in cognitive psychology, works as a senior content strategist, writer and editor at global health technology provider Philips. He is the founder and chair of the Philips Neurodiversity Network, an Employee Resource Group with over 475 members that aims to advance neuro-inclusivity in every aspect of the employee experience at Philips – from talent recruitment to leadership development as well as mental health programs. He regularly writes about neurodiversity on LinkedIn and speaks about the topic internationally, combining personal experience with organizational insights. His mission is to help create a world where every mind can thrive, no matter how their brain is wired.

She is a MSc Marketing Management 2022 graduate. Next to her passion for all things data, she holds inclusivity in business close to her heart and aims to turn her personal experiences into positive impact!

Living abroad since 2017 and currently following a Graduate Traineeship Program in consumer goods, she will be sharing her own experience on what discrimination at the workplace might look like and how to handle it.

Yuli Kim works as Program Development Director at Workplace Pride Amsterdam. She moved to the Netherlands and earned an MBA at Rotterdam School of Management in 2011. Spanning 18 years in Japan and the Netherlands, her career focused on business development in IT consulting, advertising and market research. She is originally from Tokyo, Japan and she lives in Amsterdam with her wife and three children. She believes a sense of belonging is a prerequisite for anyone to perform their best at work.
