RSM Executive Education does not require that you have passed a TOEFL test. However, as a participant in one of our English-based programmes, we require that you can fluently understand, speak, read and write in English.

Our NVAO-accredited post-initial degree programmes, such as our MBA programmes, are always offered exempt from VAT.

In principle, all other executive education courses are taxed with 21% VAT. A VAT exemption is beneficial for individuals and for organisations which cannot reclaim VAT. In that case, a 10% surcharge will be added to the VAT-exempted price. This means a major advantage compared to the price including VAT.

Please read further to see which entities may benefit from this arrangement.

As a participant of a short course, you have the right to defer (postpone) your participation once. To defer your place in the programme to a later date, you must send an email notice to the programme manager or to openpm@rsm.nl.

Should you tell us that you want to defer your studies within four weeks before the start of the programme, then you will be charged 25% of the registration fee, because we will have already incurred expenses and costs associated with your registration. Your paid cancellation fee will be considered an advance payment and will be deducted from the full registration fee of the newly attended programme.

If you decide to defer for a second time, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee of the initial Open Programme.

Read more information about our deferral policy in the general terms and conditions.

You only receive a certificate of completion when you have attended the entire programme and have handed in all of the required assignments (if applicable).

If you miss part of a one-day programme, you will not receive a certificate of completion. If you miss part of a longer programme (two days or more), depending on the programme and the amount of time you have missed, your situation and your eligibility for a certificate will be reviewed by the programme manager.

RSM is accredited by all the leading international accreditation bodies: EFMD, AMBA, AACSB, and NVAO. This authorises us to issue diplomas, but please note that RSM does not confer degrees for open programmes.

As a top-ranked institution with world-class academics in business research and education, our diplomas derive value from our reputation.

A diploma is awarded upon proof that you as a participant have met the specified criteria, typically by successfully completing one or more graded assignments. Additionally, a certificate of completion will be issued for attendance, indicating successful completion of a programme at RSM.
