1. Selection procedure
The selection procedure consists of two phases.
The Admission Office will review the complete applications of the candidates. In this phase, all complete applications will be assessed for minimum requirements. Candidates who rank the highest based on their academic merits will be invited for a selection interview at the Erasmus University campus. Candidates who do not pass this initial selection round will be notified in writing within three weeks following the application deadline. Alternative admission to another MSc programme will be offered if applicable.
Selection interviews: Candidates will be invited for a personal interview with the Selection Committee. The interviews will take place on the 8th and 9th of April, 2019 (your interview will be on one of the indicated dates). The 30-minute interview will be conducted using the "STAR" interview method and will focus on your motivation to participate in the programme.
Applicants are expected to come to Rotterdam for the interview. Students will be notified via e-mail of the exact date and time. Skype interviews can be arranged under exceptional circumstances. Please contact the RSM admissions office if this applies to you.
2. Results of selection procedure
When the interviews and assessments have taken place, the Admissions Office will select the best candidates to participate in the programme. Students will be notified of the outcome of the selection procedure as soon as possible after the selection interviews have taken place. A maximum of 40 students will be selected for the programme and receive a (conditional) offer of admission. Applicants who participated in the interview but did not make the final selection will be offered admission to our Finance & Investments programme (places will be reserved in case the programme is already full).
3. Accepting the offer of admission
All candidates who have been selected for participation in the Finance & Investments Advanced programme must confirm acceptance of the offer within 14 days to the Admissions Office.
When accepting the offer of admission students are required to pay a total deposit of €900 in order to secure their place in the programme. Students who drop out of the programme will forfeit this deposit. For students who start in the programme, the €900 deposit will be deducted from the €8000 flat fee.
