MSc International Management/CEMS ranks amongst the best in the world

Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) has re-affirmed its status among the world’s leading management institutions, with its MSc International Management/CEMS programme ranking #1 in the Netherlands and #13 globally in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking.

The results highlight RSM’s strong performance across graduates’ career progression, global mobility, and responsible management education. The school made significant gains in sustainability education, leaping 20 places into the global top ten to secure #7 in the world for teaching about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and net zero subjects.

RSM also maintained its distinction as an international springboard for young leaders, with the programme ranking in the top 5 globally for international work mobility. Graduates commended the programme's real impact, reporting an overall satisfaction score of 9.00 out of 10 and placing RSM at #14 worldwide for Value for Money. In addition, dedicated investments in professional development were reflected in a 20-place rise for RSM’s Careers Service, which now stands at #22 globally.

“We know that rankings are not the only measure of a business school, but they provide a vital tool for us to understand where we are doing well and how we can continue to evolve,” said Professor Mirko Benischke, Dean of Education at RSM. “We participate in these evaluations to hold ourselves accountable. That said, we are immensely proud to see our ESG teaching recognised among the world's top ten. It demonstrates that our commitment to educating responsible leaders is delivering real impact.”

"I am delighted by our strong return to the global top tiers in the FT ranking," added Dr Giuseppe Criaco, Academic Director of the MSc International Management/CEMS programme. "This achievement is a testament to the exceptional career progress of our graduates, as well as the expertise and dedication of our outstanding faculty and programme management colleagues."

The Financial Times Masters in Management ranking evaluates global business schools across comprehensive criteria, including alumni career progression three years after graduation, international course and work mobility, diversity, and school-provided environmental and faculty data.

The RSM programme also maintained exemplary diversity standards, featuring a balanced 50 per cent female student cohort alongside a multicultural classroom representing peers from across the world.
