On 23 and 24 October 2024, the Reshaping Work Conference will take place in Amsterdam with the theme 'AI at Work'. This event brings together various stakeholders to discuss the profound changes that emerging technologies, such as AI, are bringing to the workplace. The rapid advancement of AI, particularly Generative AI, is transforming industries at an unprecedented rate. According to Goldman and Sachs, AI could replace no less than 300 million full-time jobs.

This raises the critical question of how to manage the challenges and maximise the opportunities. This means not only adapting to new technologies, but also ensuring that they are used responsibly and strategically to drive innovation and growth across different sectors.

Business leaders, policy makers, researchers, and worker representatives will explore the impact of AI on the workplace, providing diverse perspectives to help attendees gain a full understanding of these changes.

Following the conference, a series of articles will be published, co-authored by our researchers and leading thought leaders in the field of AI. These articles will summarise the key takeaways from the event and allow readers to delve into the debates and developments discussed at the conference. This is a unique opportunity to learn about and engage with the latest advances in AI and their impact on the future of work.
