Why did you choose this MSc?
“Because of its international aspect, and because it would challenge me more than other masters. Through the international aspect, I wanted to build my personal network – one of the most important things to gain from studying. I wanted a challenge because it would let me develop myself faster.”

How would you describe the programme and RSM?
“The best way to describe CEMS is by highlighting its lasting impact. Because I studied CEMS, I got to know a group of people and a group of companies that will be valuable for the rest of my life. These people, in combination with the prestige of CEMS, will open doors for me that would otherwise stay closed. The added value of RSM is its diversity in curriculum and student body, and the fact that it asks its students to work hard. By asking us all to work hard to complete the programme, it enabled me to get to know myself and my abilities better.”

What was the biggest challenge in this master?
“The workload. Many universities participate in CEMS, and RSM asks most of its students. More than elsewhere, I was asked to read material and perform group work in addition to exams. This did not make me happy at the time, but it helped me bond with other students, discover my own abilities, and steepen my learning curve.”

What made the greatest impression?
“The quality and motivation of the other students. More than in other programmes, I noticed that I needed to step up to be at the same level as everyone else. This was especially clear in class and during group work. Every student was smart and motivated, but also warm and interested in others.”

How did your studies at RSM shape your career?
“My studies accelerated my career in multiple ways: They taught me more about myself and my abilities, they connected me with a valuable network of people and companies, and they connected me with my first employer.”

What are your future plans?
“I want to keep exploring, growing and learning. That means working in different positions at different companies in various countries, every time with a new challenge. I want to keep having responsibility at my job, and, who knows, maybe I'll start my own company.”
