Why did you choose this MSc?
“I was looking for a balance between creativity and working with numbers. RSM’s MSc in Marketing Management was challenging on both areas, which convinced me to choose for this programme.”
How would you describe the programme and RSM?
“The programme is diverse and challenging. It requires you to not only make use of your strong capabilities, but also to develop your weaknesses in order to become a more complete marketeer. The programme offers you a large variety of main courses and electives. This makes you discover what part of marketing energises you the most, helping you to choose the right career path. RSM is one of the top-notch business schools. It provides you with the necessary means to be ready for the start of your career.”
What was the biggest challenge in this master?
“The biggest challenge for me in this master was combining the honours programme with the main courses. Although it was a challenge, I would encourage everybody to take part in this honours programme. It made me aware of the importance of networking, but also expanded my knowledge in the field of marketing. The lectures that are given throughout the programme demand effort, but most importantly they are interactive and fun.”
What made the greatest impression?
“For me the greatest impression was the extent to which the professors were involved in the development of their students. They went the extra mile in helping students to understand the material and took the time to answer questions elaborately. Through one of the professors I even got an internship at a well-known multinational.”
How did your studies at RSM shape your career?
“Because of the variety in courses, I really got to know which direction I wanted to go in my career. I got to understand my capabilities and weaknesses, and more importantly, how to develop my weaknesses and use them in my advantage. That really helped me to be prepared for the start of my career.”
What are your future plans?
"My future plan is to further develop myself in the field of retail marketing and marketing communication. Eventually becoming a marketing manager who shapes the business of its company by developing and implementing game-changing marketing strategies."
