Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) celebrated the achievements of its Master of Science (MSc) Class of 2026 on Saturday, 10 October at De Doelen in Rotterdam. Across 13 parallel graduation ceremonies, 1,256 attending graduates received recognition for completing their MSc programmes. They were warmly supported by 4,831 registered family members and friends.

A day of celebration across three event halls

RSM MSc graduation ceremonies ran from 09:45 to 21:15 across De Doelen’s Grote Zaal, Willem Burger Zaal and Jurriaanse Zaal.

The Grote Zaal hosted the MSc graduates from the programmes Business Information Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, and Finance & Investments.

Celebrated in the Willem Burger Zaal were the MSc graduates of the Global Business & Sustainability, Accounting & Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics & Management programmes.

The Jurriaanse Zaal welcomed MSc programme graduates from Part-time Master in Management, People, Organisations & Change, Master in Management, Management of Innovation/Medical Business & Innovation, and Strategic Entrepreneurship.

A memorable graduation experience

Each ceremony began with the student entrance and included reflections on RSM’s history, programme speeches and an address from the programme’s respective academic director. Graduates then crossed the stage to receive their diploma. Selected ceremonies also featured thesis or other awards, presented by faculty leadership.

All the ceremonies featured an alumni speaker, and some even included student farewell speeches. At the end of each ceremony, the cohort gathered on stage for a final class photo. A congratulatory drinks reception followed for the graduates and their guests.

Reliving the celebrations

Friends and family who were unable to attend the ceremony in person could watch the ceremonies live through webcasts, which were hosted on the RSM MSc Graduation page. Recordings were sent to the graduates by email after the event.
