In brief
The G&D Europe Scholarship is generously founded by two EUR alumni from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) and the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE). Jan-Paul Vegt and Yonggao Liu, owners of G&D Europe B.V., say their education at EUR stood at the base of their success. Although their business takes them all over the world, they still consider Rotterdam and EUR their home. They want to share this experience by providing a scholarship for maximum 12 months of the bachelor or master programme at EUR.
For whom?
You are eligible for the G&D Europe Scholarship if you:
This scholarship must be used to fund your bachelor or master education at EUR only.
Award
€3,000 covering part of the tuition fee. The scholarship is for maximum 12 months of the study programme.
How and when to apply?
In order to be considered for a G&D Europe Scholarship, applicants need to meet all BSc or MSc. admission requirements. Once you meet the admissions requirements, please send the below listed documents to the International Office.
The application letter should include the following information:
Please note that we can only take a scholarship application into consideration if it is complete and meets all of the requirements, including a scholarship application letter.
Decision
The decision will be made on merit and financial need by a selection committee.
Information
Questions can be addressed to scholarships@eur.nl
The IBA programme does not offer direct admittance to a higher year. All students must formally start in the first year of the programme. It is also not possible to transfer your grades or credits obtained at another university to the IBA programme. Requests for course exemptions are only handled once you're enrolled into the programme and can only be submitted at the start of the academic year. We cannot guarantee that your request(s) will be granted as the decision will be made by the RSM Examination Board.
You can apply for a maximum of two Numerus Fixus programmes in the Netherlands. It is important that you submit the enrolment application via Studielink before 15 January at 23:59 CET (Central European Time).
RSM does not use predicted grades for the evaluation. Due to the early application deadline, RSM normally uses the grades of the penultimate year (year before your final year) for the evaluation. This allows us to evaluate each applicant based on a full year of grades.
As you may have fewer grades than you normally would due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the 2022 admission RSM will use the grades of your penultimate year and the grades obtained in the last year until 31 January.
If you are in your final year of secondary school, please wait to submit your application until you have obtained the last set of grades for 2021. Some schools provide these grades in December, others may wait until January. Grades cannot be submitted after 31 January. It is also not possible to send improved grades after the 31 January deadline.
We do not set a minimum requirement. The average GMAT score for our current class is 640 points (classic edition), which serves as a benchmark for candidates. For the GMAT Focus edition, we don't have an established average score yet. If you have questions regarding score conversion between different versions of the GMAT, please refer to: GMAT Score Conversion Guide. However, please remember that this is only an average, and we're happy to discuss any questions you may have about your score on an individual basis.
An internship is not a requirement in the sense that it is not part of the curriculum. However, we find a great number of students are interested in doing an internship and our Career Development Centre is here to assist you if you are one of those students. When you start your internship all depends on many factors, including your schedule of electives and the flexibility of your employer. If you are in the Netherlands on a student visa, it will be valid for an extra three months (January-March of the year following your course completion) so that you may live here legallyand do an internship without worrying about leaving the country.
If you are not a passport holder of a European Union country, you will need to apply for permission to live and study in the Netherlands. This may vary depending on which country you come from, but you can find helpful information by clicking on this link.
At Rotterdam School of Management you can join the following student organisations.
We do not accept the SAT or ACT. For admission requirements per diploma, see the RSM website.
