No, we do not accept transfer credits. Executive participants begin OneMBA at the same time, move through the curriculum together and complete the requirements for graduation as a group. As a result, executives will build an extensive network of trusted colleagues living and working around the globe, as well as lifelong friendships.
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is optional, but recommended if your academic record does not demonstrate strong quantitative skills. If you take the test please quote ‘Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University – Global Executive OneMBA Programme’ and the scores will be sent directly to the school. Programme Management uses SIN-Online to coordinate registration for a number of things including workshops, team formation for group projects, exam perusals, bachelor electives, research thesis groups and topics, and so forth. Depending on the nature of the registration, students can register individually or as a group.
If you would like to make use of these registration facilities for your course, we kindly ask that you allow us enough time to set-up the registration in SIN and to properly communicate the information to students (and allow them time to register). It is advisable to discuss possible registration dates during a ‘pre-trimester meeting’ with your Programme Manager before the start of the trimester. It is not only important to be clear about the opening and closing dates for the various registration objects, but also to determine in advance what your policy will be concerning late registrations, maximum capacity in workshops, etc. As a general rule, Programme Management will take care of the online registrations (setting them up in SIN-Online, mailing the lists of registered students to the coordinator after registration has closed, etc.) and the course coordinator will deal with the students who register late.

With the help of a tool built into SIN-Online, it is possible to create a poll that students vote on in 'real time' during the lecture. The SIN-Online SMS Polling system allows all channel owners to conduct SMS polls. This can be especially useful during large lectures where the sheer number of students makes direct communication between teacher and student difficult. It can be used to ask live questions in order to assess the knowledge level of the students present so that the lecture can be adapted to their needs. This feature could be used to go through a few practice exam questions with the whole group, for example.
Poll questions can be prepared beforehand or entered live into the system. No software needs to be set up, a computer with a working internet link and owner rights to a channel are all that is required.
For more information about how to set up an SMS poll during one of your lectures, feel free to consult the following wiki from SIN: https://lia.frg.eur.nl/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=SMS_Polls
As a programme participant, you can expect a carefully integrated mix of lectures, presentations, business simulations, small group discussions and case studies. Some preparation work may be required.
Yes, it is possible, but it's important to note that we can only treat applications equally until the deadline. Additionally, please keep in mind that after this date, obtaining a student visa may no longer be guaranteed. If the deadline has already passed, we recommend reaching out to us directly for further guidance.
You will be assigned to two types of study teams: global teams and regional teams. Participants are selected to give each team a broad range of skills, backgrounds and nationalities.
Global Teams:
Your global team will work together on projects and assignments for your Globally Coordinated Core Courses and Global Residencies. Global teams will be composed of 5 or 6 executive participants living and working in different parts of the world. Your team will meet during the global residency and work together remotely by phone and internet until the next global residency, when you will be assigned to a new global team. You will work with 3 different global teams over the 21-month Programme.
Regional Teams:
Your regional team will be composed of executive participants from RSM. You work with this team on Regional Course assignments throughout the OneMBA Programme.
Interactive communications technologies are used to maintain close contact among executive participants and faculty from all the partner universities. OneMBA provides web conferencing tools that allow for real-time document and application sharing as well as video and voice-chat capabilities over the Internet.
You will receive an invoice once you are registered, and we ask that you to pay that invoice within 30 calendar days.
If you register 30 days or fewer before the start of the programme, your fee must be paid before that programme’s start date. If you do not receive an invoice, please contact the manager of your programme.
As OneMBA is for seasoned professionals, most applicants have been away from school for many years. We encourage you to review and improve your knowledge of statistics, economics, finance, and accounting before the Programme begins. The greatest challenge facing many students is balancing school, home and work related responsibilities. The OneMBA curriculum is demanding, but is also personally and professionally rewarding.
We require a minimum of six years of full-time professional work experience. The majority of our OneMBA students have held over a decade of post-graduate experience. We also look for participants with current or expected global management responsibilities. For a complete list of requirements, visit our admissions page.
English is the language used for all OneMBA communications. If English is not your native language, you may be required to take the TOEFL exam, which evaluates your ability to listen, read, and write in English. Your admissions interview will also be conducted in English.
Yes, you may bring your partner and/or your children but please note that there will be no arrangements or activities for children. For partners, please purchase a regular reunion ticket and indicate on the registration form (in the 'class of graduation' fied) 'I am a guest of an alumnus'.
You can login to the alumni database to verify your data, as well as look for your classmates via the alumni database there. Alternatively, please send an email with your contact details, programme and the graduation year to alumni@rsm.nl
Yes, the GMAT or GRE requirement applies to all applicants, regardless of their experience. However, if eligible, you may also opt for the RSM Business Admissions Test (BAT) as an alternative. For more information, please visit https://www.rsm.nl/education/mba/international-full-time-mba/admissions/bat/
You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Because you will be working with your study team during class sessions, all executive participants should have a PC laptop computer with Microsoft Office 2000, XP, Vista or newer. You will also need your own high-speed Internet service provider to work off-site.
The tuition fee for the OneMBA Programme is €62,000 (to be billed over an initial deposit at registration deadline and three instalments over three financial years). The tuition fee covers all costs for tuition, meals, books and cost of board and lodging during global residencies with the exception of flights to and from the global residencies. Hotel accommodation for the regional residencies in Rotterdam (11 extended weekends) is at one’s own expenses.
In the event that you have a student who cannot comply to the general examination rules as a result of personal circumstances, please advise him to speak with a student adviser (for contact information please refer to the Who, What, Where section). The student advisers will, depending on the nature of the circumstances, work with the Examination Board to find a possible solution.
The term "pre-experience master" means that the MSc programmes at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University have been designed for students who have recently completed their undergraduate studies and have little or no work experience.
