The General Management Admission Test (GMAT) and is used by business schools worldwide to assess skills deemed necessary for success at the graduate school level. The GMAT exam consists of 4 parts: quantitative, verbal, analytical writing assessment and integrated reasoning. RSM does not require you to complete the analytical writing assessment nor the integrated reasoning part as these parts do not contribute to your overall score.
For more information on exam content and information on how and where to register for the exam, please visit the official GMAT website: www.gmac.com. Preparation materials such as books and software applications are available to help you study for the GMAT exam and can be purchased on-line or in major book stores. RSM strongly advises you to prepare for the GMAT well in advance.
The helpdesk for RSM staff, USC IT Desk, (located on the 4th floor of the Mandeville building - T04-09) is the 1st point of contact for RSM (T-building) staff members for all requirements, questions and problems associated with the workplace or with regard to related equipment. You can visit the helpdesk personally or contact them via email (servicedesk@ict.eur.nl) or telephone (010 - 408 1600). You can also find information, request forms, and manuals via the RSM Intranet pages, under the menu ‘IT’.

Sometimes our applicants are a bit confused when filling in the Personal Information section of the online application form. In order to help you out, we have explained the fields on the form below.
Example applicant name: Nicholas Andreas Peter van Zomeren
Family name = your full surname or last name as stated in your passport. In the example above you would list van Zomeren.
Full first names = all of your given names as stated in your passport. In the example case you would enter Nicholas Andreas Peter
First name = Your first name, or the name you would like to be addressed by. Nicholas likes to be called “Nick” so that is what he would enter here.
Current mailing address= the address you are currently living at.
Permanent address = For some people this address is the same as the current mailing address, for others it is likely your parents address.
The tuition fee must be received no later than 31 August. Keep in mind that it takes approximately 7 days for international bank transfers to be processed so make sure to pay on time. Please view the tuition fee procedure.
Rotterdam School of Management does not handle the tuition fee payment. Therefore, DO NOT SEND your proof of payment to the RSM Admissions office. Contact the Erasmus Student Service Centre for tuition fee/payment related questions.

Students are expected to behave in accordance to the rules and regulations as outlined in the Code of Conduct.
If when grading an examination or paper you are suspicious about the validity of a student’s work then you are advised to contact the Examination Board for further advice and instruction (via ec@rsm.nl). More information pertaining to this topic can be found via the Examination Board's 'Teaching Net' portal: https://intranet.eur.nl/group/rsm/fraud.
If a student has been suspected of doing some kind of fraudulent activity, or if a student is caught with his/her telephone either on, or not stowed away during an examination then this will be noted on the student's examination papers. There will be a large FR stamp on the exam when you receive it. The FR stamped exams are directly reported to the Examination Board by the department of Exam Administration (EA). The Examination Board reviews the various cases and also checks to see if students are repeat offenders.
Coordinators are asked to grade all exams, including those marked with FR, and to list the FR students' grades on a 3rd sheet ('tabblad' in Dutch) on the official .xml grade file from the EA. If the student was registered for the exam, note 'FR' next to the students name in the first sheet, and list the student's number and the grade that the student received in the 3rd sheet. If the student wasn't registered for the exam, add the student number to the 2nd excel sheet (for 'ER', or own risk students), and then note 'FR' as the grade. The student's real grade should be listed on the 3rd sheet, together with any other 'FR' grades.
This will ensure that the coordinator can turn in all final grades at the same time (instead of separate files after the fact) and it will also ensure that the EA has the grade on record in the event that the student only receives a warning so that they can process the grade in Osiris.
Once the Examination Board makes its decision regarding an 'FR' case, the student will receive an email with this decision and the coordinator in question and the department of Exam Administration will receive a 'cc' to the message. The cc to the EA provides them notice that they can process the grade that the coordinator listed in the third excel sheet in the xml grade file.

Students who are temporarily or structurally disabled (e.g. because of dyslexia or diabetes) are allowed to make use of special facilities for the duration of their disablement, within reasonable limits. These facilities, such as special exam arrangements, should give disabled students equal opportunities toward achieving their academic goals. One important facility is a separate room in which students can take exams with half an hour extra time. This separate room is called M1-5, a small classroom on the first floor of the Van der Goot Building (east side); the room is called 'Hull'. A maximum of 20 students can take the exam simultaneously in this room.
A number of students in the BSc IBA and BA programmes have this M1-5 statement and take all of their final examinations in room M1-5. It is likely that you will be asked to go to room M1-5 at the beginning of your examination to see if students have any questions.

We ask for your secondary school diploma for two reasons. The first being that it is good practice in the world of credential evaluation to always ask for the underlying diploma when evaluating an academic credential. This gives additional insight into the academic career of an applicant and can tell us more about the level of the bachelor diploma. The second reason has to do with fraud prevention. The more documents someone has to fabricate, the greater the chance that they will be discovered. Students who completed their secondary school in the Netherlands (havo or vwo) do not need to submit these documents. They will be verified by DUO when you register in studielink.

No. As part of the selection process for the IBA programme we ask our applicants to illustrate their drive and suitability for the programme by either uploading their CV OR answering the motivation question "What attracts you to an international business administration programme?" It is not possible to choose both, so which one should you choose? To give you some guidance in making your choice, we have created a document to explain both options in more detail and to give you some tips. CV (resume) vs Motivation - How do I choose?
Next to either CV or motivation, RSM also asks applicants to reflect on their suitability for the programme by answering three "reflection" questions. Answers to these questions have no impact on the ranking but are purely meant for self reflection. Your CV or motivation and the reflection questions must be written in English. If you submit your CV or answer the motivation question in a language other than English it will not be scored.
